Questions Families Often Ask
How do I know if this is a crisis?
If you're worried enough to be reading this page, it's worth coming in. You don't need to wait for a suicide attempt, violent behavior, or a breakdown. We help families before things reach that point.
Will my loved one be institutionalized?
No. Our Crisis Wellness Center provides stabilization—not long-term institutionalization. We help your loved one regain stability in a safe environment, then connect them with ongoing support.
What if my loved one won't come voluntarily?
Our mobile crisis team can assess the situation and provide guidance on next steps, including legal options when necessary.
How long will they need to stay?
Most crisis visits last several hours to 23 hours. Our goal is to stabilize and connect you with the right ongoing care. We can provide care for up to 5 days if needed.
Can I stay with my loved one?
While you are not able to stay with them, we encourage family involvement and will work with you to support your loved one's recovery.
What about work or school?
We can provide documentation for medical leave when appropriate.
What if we can't afford it?
We accept all major insurance plans, and no one is ever turned away based on their ability or inability to pay. Let us worry about the billing—you focus on getting your loved one the help they need.
What should I bring?
Just bring your loved one. If possible, bring their insurance information and a list of current medications. But don't let the lack of paperwork stop you from walking through our doors.
